SUMMER RECRUITMENT INTERNSHIP - 2013

Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters Association of Greater Boston, a not for profit social service agency provides the highest quality volunteer mentoring to children and adults with disabilities. This internship is located on the Newton, MA campus of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Boston (JCC).

Duration and Hours

July and August 2013

3-5 hours every day

Responsibilities

The Intern will be out in the field 4 days a week tabling and handing out flyers telling people our story and generating interest in becoming a volunteer with us.   One day a week the intern will come to the office for training, discussion and   to prepare for the week’s activities.  We have prepared a detailed daily calendar with appointments for the entire summer.

Compensation

 The Intern will be compensated at a rate of $10 per hour worked.

Expenses

All business related expenses including travel will be fully reimbursed.
