This week, we introduce you to a young man on the South Shore who’s been waiting for over a year for a match in Friend 2 Friend’s Community Program. You? Someone you know? South Shore supporters: Spread the word!
Alex, who’s 27, works three days per week in data entry. He lives in Braintree with his family and their beloved dog. And when he’s not working, he’s a fierce competitor in a board game club and an avid gamer. Alex has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and admits that making friends has proven challenging for him. “I hope that, in Friend 2 Friend, I get to meet someone outgoing and interesting,” he says.
Alex’s ideal friend: Someone who enjoys gaming as much as he does! Also, a person who will hit the town, who likes going out to eat. The Cheesecake Factory is his favorite!
