On “Friend 2 Friend Friday,” we introduce you to one participant waiting to be matched in our programs for adults with disabilities.
Today, it’s Jackson. He’s an 18-year-old from Natick, who lives with his family. He’s a video game aficionado and a music blogger. (His favorite band is My Chemical Romance.)
Jackson attends school, and he’s active in a local church youth group. Still, he admits, Autism Spectrum Disorder and depression, have made it hard for him to strike new friendships in those places. He enrolled in Friend 2 Friend earlier this year in the hopes of meeting someone new.
Jackson’s ideal match: A young volunteer (20s, early 30s) who likes staying active, exploring new places.
