For the second year in a row, JBBBS is pleased to welcome an Emerging Jewish Leader through the JVS Emerging Jewish Leaders Program, a unique 10-week summer internship providing college undergraduates professional work experience, skills training and mentoring in a Jewish context. The program is supported with funding from CJP and donations in memory of M. Bradley Jacobs, whose family and friends, in establishing the program, hoped to honor his memory as well as perpetuate his values and ideals. Brad, a one-time JBBBS volunteer, believed strongly in education, practical work experience and supporting one’s community.
Needham native, Sydney Noymer, is interning at JBBBS. She’s a rising junior at Tulane University. About her experience, she says, “I major in Communications with a minor in Management, so my work at JBBBS goes hand-in-hand with my interests. I’m looking forward to gaining work experience this summer through involvement with the Recruitment and Communications team here. I’m also excited to participate in various events hosted by JBBBS and to connect with the other staff members in the office.”
Welcome, Sydney! We’re glad to have you!
