#MyLittleStory is an accounting of experiences: Big and Little Brothers’ and Sisters’, Friends’, parents’ and family members’, donors’, supporters’. Stories highlight why we care: About our matches, about mentoring, about JBBBS! This week, hear from MAGIC volunteer, Rachel Page.
New to Boston, I was looking for ways to volunteer and get involved in the community. I learned about MAGIC and feel so fortunate to have been matched with Alexis. We’ve been friends for over a year now and spending time together is always fun: painting, singing karaoke, playing pool or dancing (which is our favorite). Alexis never ceases to amaze me with her incredible dance moves, her love of animals, her knowledge of almost everything. She is someone who inspires me and has taught me so much.
I am grateful to have found JBBBS and lucky to be a part of this wonderful community.
