Steve Silk

Steve has been the owner of his family’s wholesale produce company for over 30 years. He is involved in all aspects of the business including sales, operations, and management. His family became involved with JBBBS more than 20 years ago, originally sponsoring a Chanukah party for Bigs and Littles that became the annual Silk family Chanukah party. 

This will be Steve’s sixth year as a board member of JBBBS, and he thoroughly enjoys being part of such a meaningful and impactful organization. 

He has been active in the Newton community having coached several of his kids’ athletic teams over the years, as well as serving on the board of Temple Beth where his family has been members for 50 years. 

He currently lives in Newton with his wife, Barrie, and they have three young adult children.
