In 1932, Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters matched a 12 year old boy with a Big Brother. Their friendship lasted more than 70 years. Today it lives on in a $1 million gift from the Harold D. and Annette Price Family Foundation to grow our programs.

HAROLD AND JOE
Harold Price was 12 when his father died. His mother, raising Harold and his two younger sisters on her own, was referred to JBBBS to find a male role model for her son.
We matched Harold with Joe Wolbarsht and supported the two of them throughout Harold's childhood. Joe showed up, and he kept showing up. The two stayed close friends for more than 70 years.

This fall, the Harold D. and Annette Price Family Foundation honored their friendship with a $1 million gift to grow our programs.
